Resources
Located at the 3rd and 4th floor of the Campus St Germain building, we have a set of marvellous instruments to perform our routine characterizations and engineering.
High-content screening Axio observer inverted microscope

The instrument consists in a fully motorized Zeiss AXIO Observer 7 Inverted LED Fluorescence (5 colors) Phase Contrast Motorized XY Definite Focus 3 driven by Zen software. It includes standard fluorescence color cubes (HE90 and HE 91 filters) and Neofluar lenses from 2.5x to 100x. The stage is equipped with a Tokai Hit stage top incubator and several workflows have been developed in the team to perform high content screening analysis on complex dishes such as microwells or custom-made microfluidic chambers. We thank ANR and the Région IDF DIM (Bioconvs and Elicit) for the support for this equipment
High content screening Axio Zoom macroscope

The instrument consists in a fully motorized Zeiss AXIO Zoom v16 with LED Fluorescence (5 colors) Phase Contrast Motorized XY Definite Focus 3 driven by Zen software (Zeiss). The platform is completed with a OB1 flow 4-channel flow controller (Elveflow). We thank ANR and the Région IDF DIM (Bioconvs and Elicit) for the support for this equipment.
Soft thermoplastic manufacturing platform

The embossing can be performed using a DC7 manual press (Geo Knight & Co, Inc) with top & bottom temperature control or a SuBlym100 vacuum press (Eden Materials), allowing to hot emboss soft thermoplastic elastomers.

The thicknesses can be controlled with a micrometer (Mitutoyo) and the chip can be prepared with a EMG manual press with a wide set of possible diameter (Boehm).

Surfaces can be hydrophilized and activated with an air plasma via our Plasma (Harrick).
Asymetrical flow field – flow fractionation (A4F) coupled to UV-Fluo-MALS/DLS-RI detection
The instrument is available at IVeTh platform. Do not hesitate to contact the staff here . It consists in a Wyatt Technology AF4 size-based separation module coupled to multiple detections: MALS (multiangle light scattering, for geometric diameters), DLS (dynamic light scattering, for hydrodynamic diameter), UV-Vis spectrophotometer, Fluorometer and Refractometer. The system is driven by an Agilent HPLC and includes an autosampler and a fraction collector.
